A graduate of Enid High School, Dr. Funk is happy to come back to his hometown to serve the community. He competed in baseball all four years of college while attending Northern Oklahoma College (Enid campus) and Oklahoma City University.
Dr. Funk received a Doctorate in Optometry from Northeastern State University graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning the award for Clinical Excellence. Dr. Funk is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.
In 2011, he participated in NSUOCO’s laser certification course and is certified to perform anterior segment laser procedures. Dr. Funk’s wife, Mara, is a practicing attorney in Enid. They have two sons, Carson and Connor, and a daughter, Finley.
